NHK Kosher Certification Process: 5 Simple Steps to Certification

Begin the process by reaching out to NHK Kosher via phone or email. Our team will be available to answer your preliminary questions and provide an overview of the kosher certification process.

  1. Submit Online Application

If you have any inquiries regarding the online application, our professional staff will be happy to assist you. NHK Kosher keeps all submitted information strictly confidential. Applying for kosher certification does not entail any obligation on your part.

  1. Schedule an Initial Visit

A designated Rabbinic Coordinator from NHK will conduct a comprehensive initial inspection of your facilities. This inspection enables us to gain a thorough understanding of your company’s unique features. The Rabbinic Coordinator will outline the necessary procedures for obtaining and maintaining kosher certification. A nominal fee is typically associated with the initial inspection, and you will have the choice to proceed after the fee amount is determined.

  1. Contract Agreement

Following the initial inspection, the Rabbinic Coordinator will report back to our Kashruth Commission. The commission will determine a supervision program and calculate your annual fee based on various factors such as production nature, location, and the effort required to maintain your kosher program. We will then provide you with a contract for your approval.

  1. Receive Your Kosher Certificate

Congratulations! Once you receive a fully executed copy of the contract, you will be officially certified kosher by NHK Kosher, one of the most respected kosher agencies in the industry.
